Improve the feel of your shifter and remove rattle with the PERRIN Shifter Cable Lock.
10th Generation Civic shift cables are not well secured in the shifter cable housing. This causes a noticeable "double-clunk" while shifting into 2nd, 4th, and 6th gear. This problem is exaggerated when aftermarket short shifts and adapters are installed.
The PERRIN Shifter Cable Lock compresses the shifter cable housing around the shifter cable mount, locking it in place and eliminating any movement.
The Shifter Cable Locks extended shaft uses tension bands to hold pressure on the cable eliminating any additional vibration between the shifter cable and the shifter cable sleeve.
The PERRIN Shifter Cable Lock is CNC machined from lightweight aluminum for a precise fit. Anodized black and laser etched with the PERRIN logo and part number. While you won't see it again once it is installed, know that it will still be looking and working great for many years and miles to come.
