IAG Turbo Heat Shield Blanket (Black), 2002-2014 WRX & 2004-2021 STi

IAG's turbo heat shield blanket is perfect for reducing under hood temperatures generated from your vehicle's turbocharger. Lowering the temperature helps reduce turbo lag and avoids damaging electrical components, body surfaces, and surrounding hoses.
The heat shield is constructed with a titanium fiber outer layer and is internally insulated with high-temperature silica cloth and wire mesh which is rated to 1472°F continuous and 1832°F peak. The inner side of the blanket is overlaid with a high-temperature stainless steel mesh for increased durability and improved thermal resistance.
The outer surface features stainless steel clips that accept stainless spring clamps allowing the blanket to fit many Subaru internal waste gate turbo applications with ease.
