Perrin Super Shifter Stop, 2015-2017 WRX w/ STi Shifter

The PERRIN Super Shifter Stop removes the unacceptable amount of horizontal slop within the 1st- and 2nd- gear shift gates. The nearly 1" of play in the transmission from the factory is reduced to only 0.12" of horizontal movement with the PERRIN super shifter stop which forms a more tactile connection between the driver and transmission.
Just like the horizontal slop, there is an unacceptable amount of vertical slop within the 1st- and 2nd- gear shift gates. The PERRIN Super Shifter Stop will reduce this movement from 0.70" to 0.20". This reduction in movement makes for a solid connection between the driver and transmission. The standard PERRIN Shifter Stop (PSP-INR-018) does not include the red parts to reduce the vertical slop.
The PERRIN Shifter Stop prevents the shifter cables from being stretched past their intended design. This prolongs their lifespan, reducing the risk of roadside breakdowns and saving you money on potential repairs due to cable failure. The shifter stop also prevents over shifts, which can strain internal transmission components and lead to wear and tear.
The PERRIN Super Shifter Stop is perfectly designed to bolt directly to the shifter. Being constructed from 6061-T6 Aluminum allows for countless downshifts from 3rd to 2nd gear without the worry of damaging the shifter stop or shifter.
Included with each PERRIN Super Shifter Stop is hardware that removes an existing gap in the shifter assembly, further reducing lateral shifter assembly movement.
