| Manufacturer's Description: The IAG Performance Equal Length Header is the perfect upgrade to boost the performance and power in your 2015-2021 Subaru WRX with the FA20 DIT engine. While the OEM headers restrict the airflow behind the engine port the collector pipes and the turbo port IAG's precision engineered header provides a clear path for increased airflow resulting in more power and greater efficiency. In addition to the improvements in airflow the equal-length tubing in IAG's Equal Length Header decreases turbulence that is commonly found in unequal-length (UEL) header setups. The main goal of the exhaust system is to move gases away from the engine as quickly as possible. With UEL headers it takes more time for the gases to pass through the two longer header pipes to reach the collector causing an imbalance of backpressure at the exhaust ports decreasing the overall performance of the exhaust. |
