This IAG 950 EJ25 Subaru Closed Deck Short Block for WRX, STI, LGT and FXT offers all the perks of our 950 EJ25 block at a reduced cost. While this block still features IAG's proprietary closed deck system for increased strength and durability, this specific block has been bored to 100mm instead of the usual 99.75mm. The slightly larger bore size does not affect the performance or displacement of the engine, as the difference is negligible. You'll find the same high quality components in this discounted short block as those used in our original 950 EJ25 block, including a new 2017+ Subaru 2.5L nitride treated STI crankshaft and IAG-Spec Tuff H-Beam +2mm connecting rods with ARP 625+ rod bolts, but this version includes 100mm JE IAG Spec JE FSR Forged Pistons to accommodate the slightly larger bore.
