Its purpose is to reduce the intake whistle sounds that accompany aftermarket intakes. This unit is aluminum with an anodized black finish. Included: • Sound Suppression Chamber Why: Larger aftermarket intakes create an imbalance with the factory sound suppression chamber resulting in an audible whistle.
